Jian De He purchased the newly launched ICE 815D late 2022 and has started a first sheet piling project in Macao. The piles are 24m long No. 6 sheet piles. The piles are needed for the building of a municipal utility tunnel, for a ramp connected to the Aodang Bridge project, very near the Hk-Macao bridge terminal. Powered by a Volvo engine the eccentric force of the hammer is easily reached for fast installation times.

The sheet piles are accurately positioned by the piling frame, by interlocking the sheet piles before driving a panel is formed, so instead of worrying about the verticality of each pile while driving, the operator can proceed without the need of adjustment during the installation of the pile wall.

ICE clients in HK and Macao are very experienced vibratory hammer users, and are very particular about the dimensions of the hammer. The most popular models are 416L and 815D which have a very narrow throat width that allows the operator to maneuver the hammer in between two adjacent piles.
